Teachers over the world are trying to teach their students English, raising learner autonomy and motivation. However many still can’t avoid teaching to the test and focusing on discrete aspects of language, because of the demands of national exams.
There was a research conducted to find the ways to satisfy the student’s educational needs. It shows that communication is not only the method and the main goal of language teaching but also an effective instrument of assessment.
